Any advisory relationship between you and the firm begins when an engagement letter is signed by both sides — and not before. The contents of any conversation prior to that letter are exploratory only.

When we engage, the engagement letter governs scope, fees, confidentiality, and the practical mechanics of the work. Where there is conflict between the engagement letter and this site, the engagement letter prevails.

We treat material you share with us in the course of considering an engagement as confidential, and we expect the same in return. Discretion is the currency.

Nothing on this website constitutes a personal recommendation, financial promotion, or regulated advice under the rules of any authority. The firm operates through licensed counterparties (legal, tax, and where required, broker-dealer) on a case-by-case basis, named in the relevant engagement letter.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado for visitors based in the United States, and by the laws of England and Wales for visitors based in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Engagement letters specify their own governing law.
